I greet you Internet, in this, my inaugural blog post. I will say, that up until this point I have been horrible at this thing we collectively call “social media.” But now that I am trying to make a career for myself I have no choice but to put myself out here on the Internet. I have to make an effort to share things about myself, something that I have never been the best at despite watching Barney and graduating from Kindergarten with all plus marks. (Full disclosure: I don’t know if this is actually true, but my six year old self was a smart cookie so I choose to believe that it is). I like to think that I’m smart and funny, but I have the obvious bias of being myself so I can’t say for sure. It’s up to you Internet, you can raise me up, you can place me on that lofty pedestal that is Internet fame, or you can let me rot in obscurity, like so many discarded memes and trendless hashtags. If there is one thing I can guarantee it is that most of my posts will be similarly rambling, and self-involved, with an occasional post that will be related to illustration.
That's right, I, like everyone else on the internet am desperate for attention.
